Christmas past comes to life at the Thameside

THE latest exhibtiion opens up at the Thameside Complex in Grays next week and has a seasonal theme.

Produced by Thurrock Museum volunteers the exhibition opens on Saturday, 9 December and shows what life was like at Christmas during the war for a Thurrock family. 

Visit the exhibition to see how people coped with rationing and shortages at Christmas 1943, and read was happening locally and further afield in that year

 The exhibition is at the Ground Floor Gallery, Thameside Complex, Grays until Friday 5 January (closing at 11am on the last day) and is a free event.
