THURROCK'S Adult Community College is offering an opportunity that it hopes will add up for local residents.

April is Maths and Statistic Awareness Month – and the college, on Richmond Road in Grays, is turning focus on its new, short 'boost' maths classes.

You need basic maths skills to apply for most jobs and the course which starts in May will improve your numerical skills for work, life (or to join higher level courses starting in September including free GCSE one-year courses for adults aged 19 and over).

To learn more about that, check out the Find a course page on the college's website.

You can also use the college [L] www.tacc.ac.uk [L+]website.L] to register your interest for a callback about a pre-course skills assessment to achieve your goals and make maths work for you!
