Congestion builds after car leaves road near Treacle Mine

CONGESTION was building up just after 8.30 this morning as police dealt with the recovery of a vehicle which left the road.

The car crashed into the ditch and hedgerow and came to rest on its side on the link road between the A13 and the Treacle Mine roundabout.

It is not believed anyone was injured in the incident and it is expected the road may be cleared soon. Traffic on Lodge Lane and Hogg Laned, as well as the arterial road to lakeside was affected as traffic backed up.
