Cops probe cricket bat attack on man at Grays home

A MAN has reported being attacked by a cricket bat at a home in a leafy Grays suburb.

The incident happened on Tuesday, 28 July and police have issued an appeal for information.

A statement from Essex Police says: "We are investigating reports the victim, a man in his 20s, was attacked in an address in Windsor Road at around 8.30pm on Tuesday 28 July.

"He reported being hit on the head and to the arm and may have lost consciousness.

"The suspect has been described as being Asian, aged in his late teens or early 20s, 5'4", of a skinny build and had short black hair. He was clean shaven and the cricket bat used in the attack had a blue handle."
