A BOROUGH-based organisation is looking for help as it provides independent advocacy services in Thurrock, supporting people to have their say in decisions about their health, care and wellbeing.

Service Team Volunteers belonging to VoiceAbility help by accompanying advocates on visits, attending events, dropping off information leaflets and a range of other tasks.

A VoiceAbility volunteer sasys: "By supporting people, I got to meet people from many walks of life and learn from their wisdom and experience."

As a volunteer you'll receive training, be paid expenses and develop essential skills you can use in work and daily life.

You'll also be making a real difference to people with health and care needs who need support to have their voices heard. You just need to be over 18 with the right to work in the UK.

To find out more and arrange a chat with the team to see if this role's right for you, visit https://www.voiceability.org/jobs/volunteering/service-team-volunteer, email [email protected] or call 0300 303 1660.
