A GROUP of knitters in Thurrock is looking for help so they can carry on raising money for good causes and creating much-needed items.

Stifford Clays Health Practice's Patient Participation Group (PPG) Knitting Clubis a volunteer group and members are currently knitting for Royal London, Basildon and Queens neonatal units, cancer patients at Southend and Basildon Hospital and for fundraising events for the St Luke'' Hospice shop.

They'd be grateful for 4 ply and double knit wool in any colour.

These will be used for tiny baby clothes, toys, lap blankets, adult hats, etc.
