THURROCk Council has partnered with Impulse Leisure to offer a free two-month membership for residents who successfully stop smoking.

Residents can join a 12-week stop smoking programme to help them take the first step toward a healthier, smoke-free life.

The council says the friendly, local service can help by providing sone to one support, with an expert who will provide a personalised quit plan and give access to free stop smoking aids.

Those who successfully quit smoking using the 12-week programme can receive two months free membership at Impulse Leisure worth over £150.

The membership includes access to the gym, swimming pool and fitness classes – available anytime across three local sites.

Spaces on the programme are limited. To make an enquiry, call 0800 292 2299 or meet the team at one of the Big Lunches being held across the borough over the next few weeks.
