THURROCK Council recently hosted its latest Developer Forum, bringing together developers, landowners and industry representatives to discuss the borough's future growth, investment opportunities and shared ambitions for the borough.
A statement from the council says: "Partners discussed how future development can support new homes, employment opportunities, infrastructure investment and regeneration, while creating clean, attractive and thriving places that communities can be proud of.
"The Forum was a chance for the council to provide updates on the Local Plan and outline the council's Civic Pride programme, highlighting the importance of creating clean, safe, attractive and thriving places across the borough."

Cllr Tom Kelly, portfolio holder for Regeneration, said: "The developer forum is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining strong relationships with developers, landowners and investors, and ensuring key stakeholders are engaged in the delivery of the borough's priorities.
"Bringing partners together through events like this helps encourage collaboration, innovation, job creation and shared ownership of the Civic Pride agenda."
The next Development Forum takes place on Tuesday, 15 December.
