It is inviting residents to attend the centres for an afternoon of fun, games and special guests.

You can book directly with the centre in person or by phoning ahead.

Events take place at:

Thurrock Family Hubs are welcoming places for families with children aged up to 18 years-old, or 25 years if they have special educational needs or a disability (SEND).

Each hub offers information and support, activities and opportunities to meet other parents from the local area.

A council spokesperson said: "Our Family Hubs offer a wide range of sessions for expectant and new parents, including midwifery and antenatal clinics, baby and child play sessions, mental health support for children and parents, children's speech and language sessions, and many more. "
