THURROCK Council is seeking residents to sit on a new working group to help ensure best practice in managing estates and properties owned by the council.
The council says: "We want to hear from you about estate management services, this includes for example caretaking, cleaning, grass cutting, tree/hedge pruning and play areas, etc, in your area to help shape future services and make sure we're meeting your needs. This invitation is open to the whole borough as we want to hear from as many of you as possible.
"As part of this project, we've reviewed our estate management work – we're still receiving findings as part of this review – and now want to move forward working with local residents. We will be holding a series of engagement exercises to hear your views on the future of the service delivery – details will be released soon.
"We want to create a working group made up of 12 residents wo will meet face-to-face and via Microsoft Teams.
"If you would like to get involved, share your feedback or join an engagement exercise, email: [email protected] or call 01375 413 820.
