REFORM councillors in a Grays ward have organised a litter pick this coming weekend.

Cllrs Steven Pester and Rob Willoughby are inviting residents in the area, including their Little Thurrock Blackshots ward, to join them on Saturday (29 August).

The duo said: "We are organising a community litter pick to maintain our local streets and green spaces to help them look their best. If you have 20 minutes or a couple of hours, every little bit helps, please join us to help make a difference!

"Refuse bags and a number of litter pickers will be available, please wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. If you have your own litter picker, gloves, or high-vis, please bring them along!

"See you there."

The event starts from 1pm. Meeting in Impulse Leisure car park.
