Crash on Buckingham Hill Road

A REPORTED head-on collision on Buckingham Hill Road between Linford and the old Stanford Road this evening brought a partial closure of the road.

The severity of the crash, reportedly between two vehicles as one attempted to overtake an HGV, has not yet been detailed.

The incident happened around 7pm and at 9pm emergency services were still on the scene, turning some traffic around via a diversion via Butts Lane and Walton's Hall Road.

Comment has been requested from Essex Police and other emergency services.
