Crews dealt with second small fire near Tilbury pub

FOR the second day running firefighters have dealt with a small blaze near the World's End pub building in Tilbury.

Yesterday (Sunday, 20 September) they attended a small fire away from the pub building involving pallets and general waste.

They returned this afternoon to quickly deal with a blaze among rubbish and grass that has been started deliberately.

The pub is currently closed while its owner evaluates its future.
