Day of musical celebration at the Thameside

THURROCK'S Thameside Complex will play host to a day of making music on Saturday (21 June).
'Make Music Day' is a free event celebrating music, creativity and local talent, bringing the community together through live performances, drop-in workshops, and hands-on creative fun for the whole family.
Live performances will include:
John Paul Elliott – emotive singer-songwriter known for heartfelt vocals and acoustic guitar

Thurrock Voices – the borough's much-loved community choir, returning with uplifting group harmonies
Madeleine from RBO – stunning classical vocals from Royal Ballet Opera's rising star
Holly Hannigan – acoustic singer with a beautiful tone and original music to match
Tommy Raven – local favourite whose music fuses indie, folk and lyrical storytelling

Also performing will be Green Bell, Kerem Goral, Esther Farinde and Creative Blast Performing Arts Academy
Expect a broad mix of styles, from soulful ballads and opera to musical theatre, acoustic indie, and community choirs.
This is a celebration of Thurrock's musical heartbeat – and everyone is welcome from 11am to 4pm.
