Disturbance in Corringham ends with injured man taken to hospital and an arrest

A MAN was injured and another arrested after a disturbance in Corringham last night.

A police statement says: "We were called to a disturbance on Gordon Road, Corringham, around 7.20pm on Friday 19 November. It was reported that a car had hit a pedestrian.

"A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with a leg injury.

"A 19-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of GBH. He remains in custody.

"Both parties are known to each other.
