ESSEX Fire and Rescue Service have warned residents in Grays that they will be holding a training exercise at Morrison House on Laird Avenue, Blackshots, on Thursday (3 July(
A statement from the force says: "Don't be alarmed if you see lots of fire engines in the area. Crews will be using cosmetic smoke to test their breathing apparatus procedures.
"We expect the exercise to last approximately two hours, starting from 10.30am."
