Driver in escape as car crashes through wall and stops inches short of house

A YOUNG woman escaped injury after the car she was driving crashed through a wall in Grays this afternoon.
The accident, involving just the one vehicle, happened just after 3pm at the junction of Southend Road and Lenmore Avenue.
The driver appeared to lose control and crashed through the walk, narrowly missing an array of tree trunks. It came to rest inches short of the house.
