Emergency road repairs cause delays on borough roads

EMERGENCY roadworks in the approaches to the QEII bridge caused traffic delays in the west of the borough this morning (Tuesday, 9 March).

One lane was closed southbound and led to traffic backing up on the approach roads, particularly the A13.

At 9am it was reported that congestion is easing but delays on some roads mean there are delays of up to 15 minutes.

The works are still continuing.
