Updated: Emergency services at incident close to Yacht Club in Grays

A NUMBER of emergency vehicles and their crews, including three fire appliances and two ambulances, attended an incident outside Thurrock Yacht Club this evening.

Two ambulances and a number of other vehicles, including police, were also present. The vehicles began to arrive soon after 6pm this evening (Monday, 28 March).

It is reported that one person was taken to hospital by ambulance. A brief statement by Essex Fire and Rescue this evening said: "Our crews were called to Thurrock Yacht club at 6:23pm. They provided first aid and the person was taken to hospital for further treatment."
