POLICE, ambulances and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance responded to a call about a man who was unwell on Kilverts Field, Grays.

The incident on Tuesday was the second time officers had been called to the area in three days.

On Sunday they dealt with an incident on the side of the Thames just a few hundred yards away.

A statement from the police says: "We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man in the Argent Street area of Grays at around 11.10am on Tuesday 19 May.

"Officers attended and found a man unwell. He was taken to hospital. No offences were identified."
