Emergency teams help get youngster to hospital

TWO ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and ambulance officer vehicle and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to a Grays home this morning following reports of a young person with a medical emergency.

The incident happened close to Hathaway Road and the emergency services operation was concluded by 9am.

The patient was transported to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital in a serious condition.

The ambulance service was assisted at the scene by police and firefighters.
