FAMILIES with children aged up to five across Thurrock can now access a free premium subscription to EasyPeasy, a new app designed to help children learn, communicate and develop through everyday family activities.

EasyPeasy offers thousands of simple ideas, activities and tips that can be incorporated into daily routines, helping families make the most of everyday opportunities to chat, play and learn together.

The app supports children's communication and language development, confidence, wellbeing and early learning, with content tailored to a child's age and stage of development. Activities are designed around items and experiences families already have access to at home and in their communities.

The launch supports Thurrock Council's commitment to giving children the best possible start in life by helping families create positive home learning experiences that support children's development and readiness for school.

EasyPeasy brings together advice and inspiration from early years experts and families, alongside activities covering areas including speech and language, wellbeing, mindfulness, nutrition and bedtime routines. It also enables families to share ideas and learn from each other through a supportive community network.

More than 200,000 families across the country have used EasyPeasy since its launch.

We're pleased to be able to offer the app free of charge to Thurrock families and would encourage anyone with children aged 0 to 5 to explore what it has to offer."

Families can download the EasyPeasy app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and register using their Thurrock postcode to access the premium service free of charge through the partnership.
