FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a large field fire close to properties in Courtney Road and Cole Avenue, Chadwell St Mary this afternoon (3pm, Saturday, 11 July).

Essex Fire & Rescue have advised residents: "If you live nearby, please close your doors and windows."
