Final piece of charity jigsaw as Jo gets ready for special event

By Neil Speight 13th Oct 2021

AN appeal has gone out for the donation of raffle prizes for an upcoming event.

The Starmakers Academy is hosting a fundraising event at the Regent Ballroom in Stanford-le-Hope next week and its director Joanne Nyland-Fink is looking to add to the prize list for the raffle.

Having assembled a cast of local performers, that is the final piece in the jigsaw of event organisation.

Jo says: "There are not many tickets left now but we really need some lovely raffle donations if anyone has something they would like to donate. Let's raise some money for these lovely charities."

This year the chosen charities are Katie's Heart Appeal and Youngminds.

Both charities are close to Joanne's heart, Katie's Heart Appeal have been responsible for raising funds to ensure there are defibrillators around the Thurrock Area, and Youngminds is a charity that helps support young people with mental health challenges.

If you would like to purchase tickets or donate prizes or money towards this event contact Jo on 07807 336443.
