FIREFIGHTERS tackled a blaze at the Port of Tilbury this evening (Friday, 22 May).
Crews were called at 6pm to deal with a fire in a container which was converted into a workshop, also affecting one forklift truck.
The blaze was extinguished by 7pm and the cause was recorded as accidental.
Firefighters remained on scene to monitor hotspots.
