ALL three main emergency services were deployed today (Saturday, 21 January) to yet another serious accident on the Marshfoot junction with the A1089 between Tilbury and Grays.

The junction and slip road linking Marshoot Road (A126) and the Dock Approach Road has been the scene of many accidents but Thurrock Council has repeatedly deemed the junction not to be problematic - even though in the past police have raised concerns.

"Crews used specialist stabilising, lifting and cutting equipment to rescue the woman. She was left in the care of the ambulance service at 1.50pm."

Essex Police are investigating the incident and have appealed for witnesses or dashcam footage.
