THURROCK Nub News is one year old today (Friday, 20 November) - and what a first year it's been.

Since launching, and as of midnight last night, we have produced 2,975 unique news and sports stories and our web pages pages have been viewed 2,422,600 times!

Our Facebook page which has a regular weekly reach of more than 100,000 people has 8,814 followers, and has been liked 5,934 - many of whom have also viewed the 123 You Tube films on our channel.

And our free local listings service for businesses and traders is supporting almost 350 local companies.

During the year we have led the Thurrock news agenda, breaking many exclusive stories - while also concentrating on the community stories at hyper local level which we know our readers enjoy so much. We are the only Thurrock-based local news media service!

Thank-you for your support during the past year and we look forward to serving you going forwards.
