Flood warning at Coalhouse Fort

ANYONE thinking of using Coalhouse Fort park for exercise tomorrow (Tuesday, 12 January) is being advised to stay away for safety reasons.

A high Thames tide is forecast for at the fort and the adjoining car park from 11.15am.

The park and footpaths will be closed and local bus services will also be affected.

A Thurrock council spokesperson said: "Please avoid the area during this time."
