Foodbank's thanks as support from community continues to roll in

THANKS have been expressed to the latest round of individuals and businesses who have supported Thurrock Foodbank.

Among those receiving praise and funeral directors West & Coe from Grays, who have donated £1,000 to the charity.

West & Coe's Anne Quinn recently visited the charity's offices in Corringham to hand over the cheque to Thurrock Foodbank's operations director Peter Newall.

Also thanked by business co-ordinator Sandra Sawle for their support are Lisa Richardson and and her friends and family.

Lisa recently delivered a donation of 215 selection boxes and 228 advent calendars.

And the Wilko store in Grays has donated 4o long life bags of goodies to the charity - and is currently hosting a collection point for local people to donate at the store in Grays Shopping Centre.
