POLICE have given limited details of a raid on a Grays home which involved two forces and resulted in the arrest of a local man..                                                                                                                                                  

It happened early yesterday (Tuesday, 23 September) at a domestic residence on Southend Road, when officers from Derbyshire executed a search warrant. Officers from Essex Police assisted.

Investigations are continuing and a statement from Derbyshire Police says: "A warrant was executed at an address in Southend Road, Grays on Tuesday, 23 September as part of an ongoing Derbyshire police investigation.

"A 48-year-old man was arrested and has been bailed pending further enquiries."

Essex Police also confirmed their involvement but said the investigation was instigated and is being continued by their Derbyshire colleagues.
