Forklift driver died in warehouse accident - investigation by Thurrock Council is proceeding

THE death of a Thurrock man in a forklift accident on a borough logistics park is being investigated.

Well known locally, but not yet officially named, the man died in the incident at the Gateway Logistics Park near Corringham last Wednesday.

A statement from the Health and Safety Executive says: "The death arose from a forklift truck overturn in the yard of a warehouse.

"It is currently being investigated by Thurrock Council."
