A WARD councillor has praised the efforts of his local community forum after joining residents on a litter pick this morning.

Chadwell St Mary councillor Adam Carter spoke up after the event in the field behind Marisco Close today (Saturday, 2 October) where fellow ward councillors Sara Muldowney and Daniel Chukwu also joined in the community action.

He took to social media to say: "Got a decent amount of litter cleared. Thanks to the Chadwell St Mary Community Forum for arranging this event."

You can find out more about the forum, its work and events it organised via its Facebook page.
