Friends rally to help remember Glen in style

FRIENDS and residents from the borough and beyond have rallied following the death of a much-loved Thurrock man who fell on hard times.
Glen Low was a popular waste collector who worked for Thurrock Council for around 35 years before he was forced to quit because of ill health.
A father of three, he died on Tuesday, 20 May with little by way of assets and his family were struggling to cover costs of a funeral that paid appropriate tribute to him.

An application to Thurrock Council for help because of his years of service was declined. so an online fundraising page with a target of £3,500 has been set up by family member Laura Blows.
