STUDENTS from the Gateway Primary Free School recently celebrated considerable success at the district 'Olympics', winning a total of 32 medals at the event held at Blackshots.

48 youngsters competed and they won 12 golds, ten silver medals and ten bronze medals.

The boys' Year Six relay was the final event that Gateway won and it was enough to lift them from second to first place overall.

Students used school clubs, both before, after and at lunch to prepare and children also trained during PE lessons.
