Gesture of kindness to police sparks thanks from officers

By Neil Speight   16th Jan 2021

IN what are continuing tough times for local emergency services, members of Thurrock's police team have been touched by an act of kindness.

The team has taken to social media to say thanks for an anonymous gift left for officers.

They say: "Our busy Local Policing Team officers in Thurrock stopped off for a quick refreshment break this evening and returned to their vehicle to find these treats left by an anonymous member of the public.

"A big thank you to this person, in times like these, gestures such as this go a long way, and is well received by our boots on the ground."
