PERFORMING arts company Creative Blast Company have re-opened their doors at the Thameside Theatre in Grays after being closed since mid-March.
They have taken steps to make their studio COVID-19 secure, including taking steps to adhere to social distancing rules and members of staff taking online training.
Director Daryl Branch said: "We have worked extremely hard over the last few weeks to ensure the safety of our participants and have had a great week, including fitness classes and a film workshop for young people.
"While we were able to move some of our classes to an online platform, nothing beats being able to teach in person and it has been great to have people of all ages back in the studio. As Guidelines change we are looking forward to being able to get back to our full timetable"
Creative Blast are hoping that their theatre school – Creative Blast Performing Arts Academy will be able to re-open on Saturdays in September and are eagerly awaiting updates.
