THURROCK-based arts organisation Arts Outburst have teamed up with local artists and organisations to present Get Creative Festival 2024, celebrating all the wonderful creativity that is happening and engaging the Borough of Thurrock.

There are events happening throughout the entire month of May across Thurrock bringing different art forms front and centre for people to join in with. There will be Art, Music, Theatre and Crafts with the spotlight shining on local artists.

Get Creative Festival launches on 1 May with the opening of an art exhibition in the Gallery at the Thameside Complex featuring art from local artists and carries on for the whole month of May with lots of opportunities for people to get involved – both as audiences and artists including the return of Sounds Like Thurrock – a showcase for local professional musicians, at Casco Lounge, Get Creative Live! at the Thameside Theatre and T100 Garden Party at High House Production Park. The festival finale brings Applause Rural Touring's show 366 Days of Kindness to Arts Outburst studio on 31 May.
