GRAYS will play host today to two linked events.

From 12 noon Grays Town Park will be the venue for the second Thurrock Afro Food Fest.

The free event will feature a range of food vendors and there will be musical performances throughout the day until 8pm.

And, starting out from nearby Kilverts Field at 12.30pm, Thurrocks T100 festival will move towards its conclusion with the start of a flag parade through the town.

It will end up at the Food Fest at Grays Town Park after passing through the High Street and town centre.

There's lots more going on in the region today. Check our our What's On guide.
