THURROCK Council has given the go-ahead to plans to extend the premises of the Gates Of Praise International Christian Centre on London Road.

The approval will see a first floor extension to the buildings which make up 79 to 83 London Road and will include five meeting rooms.

The church says the proposal is for community purpose and social outings to facilitate the more integration of youth and adults in the community.
