Gurkha event at local military and heritage centre

THE borough's Gurkha and Nelapese community will be out in force tomorrow (Sunday, 15 August) at an event at the Purfleet Heritage and Military Centre on Centurion Way.

It will be an opportunity for visitors to see the Gurkha exhibition within the centre and also enjoy special evens like cannon and rifle firing and to see Nepalese dancers and sample Nepalese cuisine.

The event will take place from 10am to 2pm.
