Hair today and they'll have skills tomorrow

By Neil Speight   3rd Feb 2020

SOUTH Essex College's Thurrock Campus barber shop has launched a hair-raisingly good cut price offer.

Students who are studying on the Level 2 and Level 3 Barbering courses are keen to showcase their talents and have trimmed prices down to just £3 for a cut.

All students are trained and assessed before they can take the next step of performing treatments on clients (there's no 'short cut' to their learning!) They are also fully supervised by a qualified tutor during the process.

The college's barber shop, located in the Grays Town Centre Campus, is open to the public during term time with a range of treatments available.

Services start from £2 for a beard trim or scalp treatment, while a cut will cost just £3. You can also enjoy a hot towel shave for £4 or a cut and blow dry for £5. Colouring is also available.

Tutor Donna Brady, said: "The students are really keen to build their client base to continue to put their skills to the test.

"They are all extremely talented and are highly praised by their clients with many coming back again and again."

To make a booking, visit the college's Thurrock campus reception or telephone 01375 362646.

The one-year barbering courses at the college are open to both school leavers and adults. To find out more check out the college website via the red button link bewlow
