ALMOST six weeks after her beloved family pet went missing a Thurrock woman says she is determined never to give up on 'her shadow'.

Bleu is a microchipped and neutured cat belonging to a family from Chafford Hundred, who is offering a reward for his safe return - believing that he may have been stolen.

His owner Chantel, says: "Bleu is my shadow and would follow me everywhere and for him not to come home, I now believe he has been stolen.

"We have looked everywhere, all hours of the day and night checked with everyone and not a sighting in almost six weeks next Wednesday.

"I am now pleading with you if you have him. Please let him go!

"We are heartbroken and a big hole sits in the hearts of myself, my partner and my son.

"He is not just a cat but a much-loved part of our family.

"Put yourself in our position. Someone must know something but chooses to stay quiet.

"Have you noticed your neighbours have a new cat that looks like our Bleu. Have you heard a cat crying. Please call me!

"I will not give up looking for him. Please, if you have him, leave him somewhere safe or drop him where you picked him up.

"We just want him home."

Chantelle can be contacted via her Facebook page.
