THURROCK Council has issued a reminder to parents and carers to ensure they get their applications in one time to secure the best chance of getting a primary school place of their choice.

If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, you need to apply for their reception school place between 1 November 2023 and 15 January, 2024.

The application is for September 2024 school year reception class admissions.

The council is hosting three online briefing sessions to explain the admissions process and answer any questions parents and carers may have.

These sessions do not promote any particular school, but give an overview of the whole admissions process.

To register for any of the briefing sessions please click the below links:

You can register and apply for school admissions by visiting the Thurrock Council website
