AN application has been received by Thurrock Council to return a building in Grays to its former use as a church hall.

The building, on Foxton Road, South Stifford, was formerly a meeting place but became the base for a local businesses, which has since ceased trading, largely due to the impact of Covid-19.

Now the the Redeemed Christian Church of God has applied to use the building as a place for small group gatherings and church meetings.

It will also be used for schooling and nursery care.

The proposed hours of use for the building are still to be confirmed.

You can view the application via this link.
