A NEW attraction is set to feature on the Alexandra Lake at Thurrock's Lakeside regional shopping centre.

The Skuna Hot Tub Boat is a bespoke electric, self-drive, wood-fired hot tub vessel that has already proved successful at a number of UK leisure venues.

The boat can be hired by groups and changing facilities will be proved at the Lakeside. The tub is filled with fresh filtered water which is changed after each trip to ensure hygiene standards and is heated to 38C.

Prices for the hot tub boat experience range from £225 Sunday to Friday and £250 on Saturdays and this includes the boat hire for seven people per boat, heated changing facilities and lockers on-site, and 75 minutes on the water.

Boat hire must include at least one 18+, children 12 and above are allowed when accompanied by an adult.
