A THURROCK woman whose daughter became a national star is now in the spotlight herself for her efforts to help people get through the coronavirus crisis.

Lisa Hawkyard, whose daughter Louisa Johnson was winner of the 2015 TV X-Factor competition, is a confidence coach who has organised a series of free well-being days to help people through lockdown.

She already has a hugely successful Facebook on-line coaching community and many private clients on her books but she wanted to do more!

Lisa has experienced several life-changing adversities including Spinal Surgery, and having studied with America Thought Leader, Bob Proctor, she has been instrumental in empowering others using her unique insight and strength. She has spent many years mastering the science behind helping people improve their mindset and confidence by breaking it down into its simplest form so that anyone can benefit.

Inspirational Woman of the Year finalist

She works with recording artists, music executives and has coached within some of the most influential corporate settings, been nominated and was a finalist in the Inspirational Woman of the Year Awards by Global Woman and has been a guest on podcasts, radio and on stage sharing her message with O2 Go Think Big.

The online Wellbeing Days are going to run fortnightly on a Thursday with the next one being Thursday, 16 April. Experts will be covering a range of relevant topics to support people during these difficult times.

You can sign up for the sessions here.

For the first of the days the agenda has been set and it will feature:

  • 10.00am - Lisa Hawkyard - Mindset and Confidence
  • 10.30am – Stephanie Staunton – Self-care tips and staying calm through anxiety
  • 11.30am – Sheena Ladwa – An alternative view to these unsettled times
  • 12.30am – Ryan Wilkins PT – Keep moving at home PLUS a live workout
  • 1.30pm – Hannah Power – How a change in mindset creates change
  • 2.30pm – Alice Bowmaker - Meditation
  • 3.30pm - Lisa Hawkyard - Q & A

If the whole day isn't feasible, as its working hours, you can just join the session to suit you. Once registered, you will access to the joining information and the facility to watch the videos you may have to miss on catch up after the event.

Lisa said: "I believe that everyone has the option of being the best version of themselves, possible in this moment. The first Wellbeing Day was a huge success and was a brilliant feeling to know that the Day helped people smile again, feel reassurance and create a healthy distraction.

"Despite all being in this current difficult time, we can all pull together to support each other and use this time to focus on ourselves and make positive changes in this moment."

Lisa believes everyone deserves to be, a happier and more confident person. To do this, often something needs to change. She will show you how to create a confident way of thinking which will successfully attract whatever you choose. For more information, click here.
