THE iconic Dulux dog has officially opened new Dulux Academy training facilities in the West Thurrock.

The new facilities at the site on Motherwell Way are aimed at helping more of the region's painters and decorators brush up on their skills or learn new ones.

Courses covering professional techniques like wallpapering and spraying, to business skills such as using social media will be delivered from the new, purpose-built facility in the West Thurrock store.

It will allow professionals from the surrounding area to benefit from expert training delivered by experienced Dulux Academy Skills Development Consultants, who are all former professional painting and decorators providing attendees with knowledge and expertise that gives them a meaningful competitive advantage.

Adam Green, Store Manager at West Thurrock Dulux Decorator Centre, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be opening the Dulux Academy training facilities in our store.

"The purpose-built facilities will provide our customers with a really valuable new resource to ensure they can develop and refine the skills and techniques that will keep their businesses flourishing."
