It's brown bin week in the east of borough

MONDAY will see the switch over to the east of the borough for fortnightly brown bin collections.

During the coronavirus pandemic they are being collected on a fortnightly basis, with collection crews working through wards from Monday to Friday.

From Monday, 1 June, brown bin garden and kitchen waste collections will take place in the following wards:

Chadwell St Mary, Corringham & Fobbing, East Tilbury, Little Thurrock Rectory, Orsett, Stanford East & Corringham Town, Stanford-le-Hope West, The Homesteads, Tilbury Riverside and Thurrock Park and Tilbury St Chads.

Blue and Green (& Black) bin collections will continue on a weekly basis as normal.
