HEADON Hall's community garden project was boosted by an event this afternoon when residents attended a Christmas Fair manned by volunteers from local charities and good causes.

And those supporting the event in Stifford Clays were volunteers from the Re-engage charity who ran a raffle, while Tom Flynn from the Prince's Trust organised a tombola.

Tom Flynn of the Prince's Trust ran the tombola.

Tom was also promoting the latest 12 week programme for unemployed young people aged between 16 and 25 who can take part in what for hundred of previous participants has been a life-changing experience.

The course offers the opportunity to learn skills, gain confidence and take part in an action-packed residential trip. If you would like to find out more details, contact Tom on 07770 832059, email prince'[email protected] or visit the website via this link.

Members of the last Prince's Trust cohort worked on the community garden at Headon Hall, which is still being developed but was reopened in October.
