It's time to pay tribute - two events in borough

THURROCK'S Remembrance season will begin tomorrow (Sunday, 5 November) with two events in the west of the borough.

Purfleet on Thames will play host to its annual parade and service, starting from the Heritage and Military Centre at 10.30am.

And on the afternoon, a short service and wreath-laying will take place at West Thurock Memorial Park.
